New features:

Improvements and Changes

  • Stealth postage now works on all types of mailpieces except letters, regardless of whether Delivery Confirmation is on or not
  • Priority Mail International labels that are not Flat Rate Envelopes can now be tracked from within the application
  • First-Class Mail International and Priority Mail International labels are now eligible for electronic refunding from within the application
  • We now officially support the ReturnAddress1-6 XML tags from the DAZzle spec as well our own ReturnAddressNickname (references from address nicknames) and ReturnAddress (the whole return address as a string) tags
  • The Apple Address Book importer now supports prefixes, suffixes, and middle names.
  • The Address Book flat-file import now supports additional encodings beyond UTF8
  • We will be dropping support in the next release for Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar and upping the system requirement to Mac OS X 10.3.9. If you have any comments or questions about this, please let us know at mac@endicia.com

Bug Fixes:

  • There are no longer any barcode fonts in this version, all barcodes are drawn in the program and should never get corrupt again.
  • An issue with wide addresses on Express Mail spilling over the label is fixed
  • Empty XML tags such as <ToEMail></ToEMail> will properly clear out the fields in the shipment
  • An issue with International insurance rates has been corrected
  • Two character country codes now work properly
  • Setting the “Clear optional details” preference now turns off Endicia Insurance
