Postage Information
The postage information gives you your account details at a glance, as well as how the package you just shipped (or are about to ship) will change your postage balance.
- Current Balance is the amount of money in your postage account.
- Postage Amount is the dollar amount of the current label.
- Confirmation describes the charge of delivery confirmation services. If None, then no confirmation services are selected in the mailpiece settings.
- Total is the postage amount plus any confirmation services.
- Ending Balance shows how much postage will remain after the current label is printed. If a label has just been printed, then this shows how much would remain if you printed a second label with the same settings.
Estimated Transit Time shows the number of days the post office believes it will take to deliver your mailpiece. This can be turned on in preferences, by selecting Estimate service standards. This process takes longer to validate addresses, because it needs to contact the Postal Service's servers to get the estimated transit time.
